Uvalde Mourns Victims of Texas School Shooting in Grief and Anger

UVALDE, Texas — A steady stream of mourners, many driving in from other cities while leaving behind other Memorial Day plans, came to Robb Elementary School on Saturday afternoon to pay respects to the 19 school children and two teachers killed in a classroom days earlier.

A line of about 100 people waited quietly across the street from the school holding flowers, cardboard hearts, balloons and stuffed animals. Some held umbrellas to block the Texas sun in the 95 degree heat.
