Vehicle crashes into Nike store at Wrentham Premium Outlets

An SUV crashed into the front entrance of the Nike Factory Store at the Wrentham Premium Outlets Friday night. First responders were called to the scene just after 7:15 pm Friday, after the vehicle crashed into the front of the store. Police said a vehicle backing out of a parking space in front of the Nike outlet continued in reverse and crashed through the front window of the store. Video from the scene showed the SUV’s rear end partially inside the store, with the brick wall and glass from a large window inside the store knocked out. The store was open for business at the time, however, no employees or customers were injured, according to police. Wrentham police chief Bill McGrath said people were mostly shaken up by the incident. The three occupants of the car were transported to the hospital for evaluation, however, none of them had serious injuries, Wrentham police said. Police said they were reviewing video surveillance as part of the investigation. No charges were immediately filed.
