Level 3 sex offender suspected in multiple rapes arrested

Warrants for Edwin Fantauzzi, 33, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, were issued, charging him with rape, assault with intent to rape, and assault and battery. Three other students then reported a man aggressively followed them on Granby Street as they walked to the South Campus and then offered them a ride.Fantauzzi is a Level 3 sex offender who was convicted in 2019 of indecent assault and battery on a child during the age of 14.
