KATE MERRIMAN, WGAL NEWS 8. KATEN: LY THANK YOU. HAPPENING TODAY, THE YORK COUNTY QUICK RESPONSE TEAM ALONG WITH THE COUNTY REGIONAL POLICE WILL BE CONDUCTING A TRAINING DRILL IN YORK TOWNSHIP. THE TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE AROUND INDIAN ROCK DAM ROAD FROM 4:00 TO 6:00 PM, BEFORE MOVING TO HOLLYWOOD DRIVE FRO6: M 00 TO 9:00 TONIG.HT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS THOSE IN THAT AREA MAY SEE POLICE CARS, TACT VEHICLES, AND OFFICERS DRESSED IN PROTECVETI GEAR, BUT REMEMBER THIS IS ALL FOR TRAINING. OFFICERS ASK THAT THE COMMUNITY GIVE THE TEAMS ROOM TO TRAIN AND NOT APPROACH

The York County Quick Response Team and the York County Regional Police Department held a training exercise on Thursday.The training started at Indian Dam Road from 4 to 6 pm After that, the training moved to Hollywood Drive from 6 to 9 pm WGAL reporter Jeremy Jenkins was at the training session and spoke to a detective who spoke about the importance of the training.
