Juveniles accused of attacks in Downtown Crossing arrested in fast-food restaurant attack

Some of the minors accused of attacking a woman in Downtown Crossing last week were arrested again after an attack at a fast-food restaurant in Boston. Police arrested three people, including an 11-year-old, after they allegedly attacked employees and customers at McDonald’s along Warren Street in Roxbury on Sunday. The group allegedly threw rocks and water bottles at people at the restaurant’s drive-thru. Police said an employee was punched and two police officers were kicked as they were making the arrests. The new arrests include juveniles linked to an attack on a young woman in Downtown Crossing last week, in which five juveniles were charged. According to a police report, Boston police said they were already responding to an assault and battery at the Macy’s in the area when they received reports of a huge fight with a group of about 20 teenagers in the street.Investigators said video shows five juveniles, the youngest about 12 years old, kicking and punching a woman who is approximately 20 years old.The report stated that last month, four juveniles assaulted an 81-year-old man at the McDonald’s restaurant on Washington Street.Police stated in the report that three young people recently shattered the storefront window at the Silvertone Bar & Grill when they tried to order alcohol and were denied service.
