Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped in to visit the Queen in a secret rendezvous at Windsor Castle on their way to a sporting event for wounded veterans, reports said.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also met with Prince Charles while stopping in the UK on their way to The Hague for the Invictus Games, according to the BBC.
The visit by Harry and Meghan comes two years after their high-profile split from the Royal Family and move to the Hollywood Hills and pursue entertainment ventures.
Harry has not been in the country since July and Meghan has been absent since the couple officially dropped out of their official royal duties in January 2020.
The duke founded the Invictus Games which takes place in the Netherlands this weekend.
Harry has gripped about the lack of security from Buckingham Palace, which has allegedly prevented him from returning home due to threats against his family.
The sit down with the Queen and Prince Charles comes after Harry dished the dirt on the Royal Family during a bombshell interview with Oprah last year.
The Sussexes, meanwhile, may have gotten away from a stinky situation in California as a putrid smell is said to have inundated their $ 14.65 million, nine-bedroom, 19-bathroom mansion.
Neighbors in the upscale Santa Barbara community “disgusted” by the pungent fragrance have reportedly complained about the issue to no avail.
The scent allegedly comes from the nearby Andrée Clark Bird Refuge – a 42-acre saltwater marsh – which is among the largest wildlife refuges in the county.
