Pakistan Leader Imran Khan Is Dismissed After No-Confidence Vote Loss

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Prime Minister Imran Khan was thrown out of office early Sunday after he lost a vote of no confidence in Parliament, according to parliamentary officials.

The opposition does not plan to move for immediate elections. The same Parliament will continue, likely for some months before elections are called by the end of the year, opposition lawmakers said.
