DUI suspect leads Carroll Township officers on 100 mph chase, police say

Carroll Township police in York County said a suspected drunken driver led them on a wild chase this weekend.Police said it happened Saturday night near the American Legion along Route 15 South. Police said they tried to take Kenneth Pohlit into custody when he took off.Police said speeds during the chase reached 100 mph and that Pohlit was missing a tire and sparks were shooting off the rim.Police said they followed scrape marks into Cumberland County, where they found Pohlit and took him into custody.Pohlit was driving on a suspended license and had no insurance, according to police.
