Law enforcement asking for help finding missing Sacramento woman

A search has been suspended for a missing 26-year-old Sacramento woman who was last seen on the Green Valley Trail in Placer County, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office said late Saturday night. On March 12 around 1 a.m., the Placer County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a call from the Sacramento Police Department regarding a missing female, 26-year-old Kerina Blue out of Sacramento, the sheriff’s office said. Blue is considered at-risk due to a medical condition. Her last known location was along the Green Valley Trail in Alta on Friday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said. The terrain is rugged and is made up of dense forest and brush. The Placer and Nevada County Sherriff’s Office had 80 searches and rescue personnel, K9s and helicopters out looking for blue until around 8 pm on Saturday night, the sheriff’s office said. The search will resume early on Sunday morning. Blue is described as a white female weighing approximately 160 pounds, 5 feet and 4 inches, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants, the sheriff’s office said. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to stay out of the area because it could affect how successful the k9s will be tomorrow when they return to search for Blue, the sheriff’s office said.
