If you’re struggling with some of the late-game areas in Elden Ring, the Vampire Build might be exactly what you need to defeat the most challenging of bosses.
It’s no secret that Elden Ring is punishing. Some of the bosses will require you dozens of tries to beat. You’ll need to level up your character to face the growing threats constantly.
But once you’ve beaten the likes of Morgott, the Omen King, and have made your way to the later game areas, you’re going to need to think about the type of build that you want to do.
This all revolves around your style of play. And if you’re a late-game player, you might want to start looking into Arcane and the blood loss status effect.
Here’s how you can have unlimited health regeneration with the best Elden Ring Vampire Build.
Our guides will frequently use a Site of Grace to reference a location. Make sure you’ve found the right one with our guide!
Most Overpowered ‘Vampire’ Insane Health Rain Build in Elden Ring
This insanely overpowered ‘Vampire’ build uses the Rivers of Blood and Blasphemous Blade weapons to inflict blood loss and unlimited health regeneration.
Blood loss is a status effect in Elden Ring that can chip away massive amounts of health from even the most punishing bosses.
Partner this with weapons and abilities that can life steal or heal HP after inflicting damage, and you’ll have yourself one of the most overpowered status effects in the game.
Especially when you start using items that scale with Arcane, Arcane is a stat that helps increase bleed status effects and discovery of items.
This is what the ‘Vampire’ Build is all about. Being able to inflict enemies with blood loss in quick succession while simultaneously giving yourself health. It sounds too good to be true, but with the correct items and weapons, it is easily possible.
Elden Ring: Vampire Build Weapons
Your bread and butter for this build will be the Blasphemous Blade but partnered with the speed, and damage output of the Rivers of Blood makes for an incredibly overpowered combination.
Rivers of Blood
You’ll need to obtain the Rivers of Blood Katana from the Mountaintops of the Giants. This means you will not get this until later in the game.
Once in the mountaintops, you’ll need to defeat Bloody Finger Okina in the Church of Repose. This will reward you with the Rivers of Blood.
Now the Rivers of Blood will be your primary form of damage. This Vampire Build is all about inflicting as much damage as possible with as many successive hits as possible.
This ensures that you consistently inflict blood loss and gain HP from inflicted damage. The Rivers of Blood special skill, Corpse Piler, will coat your weapon in blood and launch a flurry of successive attacks.
It’s instrumental in helping this build succeed. You will need to wield it in your right hand.
The Blasphemous Blade you’ll obtain after defeating Rykard, the Blasphemous and obtaining his Remembrance.
You’ll find Rykard in Volcano Manor after climbing Mt. Gelmir.
Now, the Blasphemous Blade is the foundation of the Vampire Build. It has a passive effect that will allow you to restore HP after defeating an enemy. This passive effect is active as long as you wield it on one of your hands.
This means that you can wield the Blasphemous Blade in your left hand and wield the Rivers of Blood in your right hand and still be able to restore your HP after defeating an enemy.
This may already sound pretty great, but things will start to really get vampiric when you start to add talismans to your build.
Elden Ring Vampire Build Talismans
The talismans in the Vampire Build will help with increasing your damage with successive hits and increasing the amount of HP you receive from inflicting damage or defeating enemies.
The number of talismans you can equip will depend on how far you are in the story. If you’ve gone to Leyndell and defeated Godfrey, you should have a total of four.
Otherwise, you can mix and match to see which ones better suit your playstyle.
You’ll be rewarded the Taker’s Cameo by Tanith after completing her third request. You will find Tanith in Volcano Manor after being invited in by Rya.
This talisman will increase the HP that you receive from defeating enemies. So partnering with the Blasphemous Blade will allow you to gain a great deal of HP per enemy defeated.
Godskin Swaddling Cloth
The Godskin Swaddling Cloth can be found in the Spiritcaller’s Cave in the Mountaintops of the Giant. Defeat the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble duo boss at the end of the cave, and you’ll be rewarded with the Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman.
This talisman will allow you to restore HP with successive attacks. So having this talisman while having the Rivers of Blood in your hand is incredibly overpowering.
Not relatively high enough level to get these items yet? The Blood Slash Ash of War is also great for bleed damage and can be found early in the game!
You will need to progress through Millicent’s quest to acquire this talisman. If you choose to challenge her, you will be rewarded with Millicent’s Prosthesis upon her defeat.
This talisman will boost your dexterity and increase your attack power when using successive hits. This means that not only will you be draining HP with each subsequent attack, but your attack power will also be increasing.
Meaning enemies will be defeated more quickly, which will also regenerate health due to the Blasphemous Blade and Taker’s Cameo.
Lord of Blood’s Exultation
Lord of Blood’s Exultation talisman will be dropped by Esgar, Priest of Blood in the Leyndell Catacombs. You can find the Lyendell Catacombs through the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds.
The Lord of Blood’s Exultation will allow players to gain attack power around blood loss. This means that as you inflict blood loss with the Rivers of Blood’s successive attacks, your attack power will increase.
These talismans will help players build the ultimate Vampire Elden Ring character.
Vampire Build Armor
Although not required, players can also don the White Mask Helm to further increase the amount of attack power they deal when around blood loss.
White Mask Helm
The White Mask Helm functions similarly to the Lord of Blood’s Exultation. It will slightly raise attack power when there is blood loss nearby. This includes the player’s blood loss.
This means that if you attack, you will heal rather than waste time trying to find your Crimson Flask.
