Evo 2022 lineup

Update: The full Evo 2022 lineup has now been revealed, and you can check out all 9 games in the story below.

After missing the in-person festivities in back-to-back years for the first time in 2 decades, the Evolution Championship Series is setting the stage for their big return to fighting games under new management.

It’s certainly been a while, but the Evo lineup reveal event is back for 2022 to showcase which games are going to be on the official mainstage this year.

The live stream is scheduled to begin this evening at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET hosted by the dynamic duo of Sajam and Tasty Steve along with 40 special guests interspersed throughout.

They have yet to announce any titles that’ll be appearing at Evo 2022, but we do already know that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will not be among them – perhaps a 10-year anniversary tournament for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 could take its place.

Previous offline Evos in recent years have averaged around 8 mainstage games each, so there will almost certainly be a strong spread for fans to enjoy this time around too.

This will be the first offline Evo during the event’s new management after Sony and RTS teamed up to purchase the rights to what is / was the largest fighting game event in the world with Combo Breaker organizer Rick ‘TheHadou’ joining the crew as their General Manager .

Evo 2022 is scheduled to take place August 5–7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Streaming is of course being handled on Evo’s Twitch channel though you can watch alongside us right here, and you can check out the full list of titles below now.
