We’re halfway through the usual Target PS5 restock window. No sign of PS5 stock so far, but we’re not giving up hope just yet. We remain firmly committed to the seller’s website and will update you if the situation changes.

Don’t get discouraged if Target doesn’t restock today, remember that Walmart has already confirmed it will be holding a PS5 restock (and an Xbox Series X restock) today at noon ET. You do need to be a Walmart Plus member to access these restocks, so sign up now.

Deathloop is a firm favorite of several Tom’s Guide staff, including our very own Roland Moore-Colyer, who considers it his top game of the year. If you’re unaware (pun intended), Deathloop casts you as smart-mouthed assassin Colt Vahn trapped in a Groundhog Day-esque situation, forced to relive the same day over and over on the mysterious island of Blackreef.

The only way out of the cycle is to kill eight heavily guarded targets in one day, while also dodging a rival assassin determined to hunt down Colt. Coming from Arkane, the developer of Dishonored and Prey, the game combines explosive first-person gameplay with a highly stylized world.

This is a one-off loop you’ll want to relive over and over and right now, Deathloop costs just $29 at Best Buy. That’s a massive 50% discount on a game released just last month.

With one eye firmly on Target, let’s switch back to some excellent Cyber Monday PS5 deals you can shop right now. Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal on the PS2 was my favorite game as a kid, and the duo’s latest adventure, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, costs just $49 on Amazon.

Our game editor, Marshall Honorof, is a big fan of this game. In his judgementHe said: “Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the exclusive title the PS5 has been waiting for. With finely tuned gameplay, an ambitious story and great production values, it is a standout for the series.” I’ve played it too, that’s a review I thoroughly repeat.

Let’s switch back to PS5 additions for a moment. During the weekend Jake Randall, a YouTuber and full-time inventory tracker, claimed that Target is gearing up for its biggest stock of 2021 and that a Cyber Monday drop was a real possibility.

This is big news because Randall has extremely reliable Target sources. He has previously called several restocks at the national retailer in advance. So while a restock from Target isn’t guaranteed this week, based on this trusted tip, we’d definitely say it’s highly likely.

Target typically replenishes between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. ET, meaning we’re now in the Target PS5 replenishment window. We’ll be watching the site like a hawk and will update if/when the replenishment begins.

I’m the type of gamer who hates to free up space on my hard drive, especially since I often switch between a handful of games at a time (right now I’m balancing Far Cry 6, Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Chivalry II and Fall Guys).

That’s why when Sony unlocked the PS5’s SSD expansion slot in a system update this summer, I immediately ordered myself a WD_Black SN850 SSD to increase my console’s internal storage. After installing the disc I was quite surprised with the results, and you can read my full description if you want to see how the process went.

At the moment the WD_Black 500GB SN850 SSD with heatsink costs $140 at Amazon, which is $59 off its usual retail price. Amazon warns that supplies are running low, so be sure to order one soon if you also hate deleting and re-downloading games on your console.

While we wait for any PS5 updates, let’s take a look at some of the best PS5 deals currently available. Returnal, released in April, costs $49 at Amazon. That’s $20 off the regular price of $69, and one of the strongest Cyber Monday PS5 deals currently available.

In fact, Returnal is my personal game of the year. While the high difficulty might put some people off if you take the challenge, you’ll find a highly rewarding roguelike that offers satisfying combat, beautiful visuals, and the best use of the PS5’s DualSense controller yet.

I was lucky enough to review the game if you want to read my full thought, but in summary I said, “Returnal is an incredible experience, combining a replayable rogue-lite structure with heart-pounding bullet-hell gameplay.”

Rory Mellon here, I’m a staff writer at Tom’s Guide and have been tracking PS5 additions for a living for over a year. I’ll be running this live blog throughout the day with a unique mission: to bring you up-to-the-minute updates on PS5 additions and a selection of fantastic Cyber Monday PS5 deals.

Let’s start with a PS5 restock status. The good news is that we already have a confirmed Cyber Monday PS5 addition at Walmart. The mega-retailer will be taking new orders from the console starting at noon ET. This restock is exclusive to Walmart Plus members, so make sure your account is upgraded before the drop.

This is currently the only guaranteed PS5 addition for Cyber Monday, but we hope additional retailers will also provide the chance to score a console. Right now, Target is looking for the strongest bet with an extremely reliable source that the retailer will tip the biggest restock of 2021 sometime this week and Cyber Monday seems likely.

GameStop and Amazon could also be holding PS5 additions today. We’re keeping a close eye on every major retailer and will keep you updated as the day goes on.

Hello and welcome to Tom’s Guide Cyber Monday PS5 live blog.

Sony’s next-gen console remains one of the most in-demand items in technology, so it’s no surprise that PS5 deals were some of the most popular discounts from the annual sales event.

While discounts on the best games and accessories for the console are much appreciated, the big item is, of course, the console itself. As expected, we haven’t seen any money from the PS5 console, but we expect at least some retailers to mark Cyber Monday with a PS5 addition.

If you’re still looking for a console, or just hoping to get your machine fully equipped, stick with this live blog as we’ll be bringing you regular PS5 updates as well as the best Cyber Monday PS5 deals which are readily available now.
