Growlers will play the first six home games at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto

The Newfoundland Growlers say the first six home games of the Growlers season will be played at the Coca-Cola Coliseum – the home ground of the Toronto Marlies.

In a statement issued in the late afternoon, the team said the city’s decision to suspend Growler’s home games, pending an internal investigation into the workplace, has “significantly disrupted operations of the ECHL, Toronto Maple Leafs, Adirondack Thunder and Worcester Railers.

Deacon Sports and Entertainment acknowledges the organizations disrupted by the course of events for their understanding and gives its appreciation to the team’s fans for their continued support.

The team says information about the ticket refund process will be announced in the coming days and shared on their website.
